Just in case you forgot, Iota Sigma Rho has now started out 4th Annual Canned (Non-Perishable) Food Drive. It has been four years that we have been pushing this initiative and we have no plans in slowing down now. For Iota, it is more than just an activity that we promote. We are passionate about giving back to our community and this is one way we do so. This is a two part event. We collect food for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. We take those items to shelters, Salvation Armies, Food Depository, and so forth. This places are extremely grateful for our contributions. This year we had a little helps.

RE: Poll Question - Do you think Secondlife Sororities/ Fraternities are worth the hassle? [by ErikaVixen]
Do you think SecondLife Sororities/ Fraternities are worth the hassle?
After looking at the poll and in the light of Iota's Fall/Winter Recruitment, I decided to address the question of rather or not SecondLife organizations are worth the hassle. This question I have heard a lot in both the virtual world and in the real world, and the only solid answer I can give is... It depends. Sororities and fraternities on and off the grid are here to serve a purpose. Not all organizations are created equal, so what you may want in your ideal organization another may not. It's always important to, just like in real life, do your research!

Virtural Sorority with Real Life Impact!!
How many organization on SecondLife or across all grids and Virtual worlds can truly and honestly say they give back to the real life community outside of donating to causes financially? Iota Sigma Rho is one, if not the only sorority that leads in these efforts! Especially around the holiday season, this is when our people and our communities need us the most regardless of your ethnicity.
